P.U.U.N. - Put Utilities Underground Now - Part II
Now that Sandy has come shore there are millions without power because our government utilities haven't learned from the past storms. We have to demand our cities and states bailout our infrastructure with putting Electricity, Cable, Internet, and telephone lines underground. It will cost billions but I rather see it spend on the above instead of Wall Street, Car Companies, or Insurance companies. Our government doesn't realize that our defense of our infrastructure is a national defense priority. People who are hit by these storms would have power, water, and cable if ALL utilities are put underground. Write to your congressman and senators and express you being fed-up with this ignoring of our civil rights. We pay taxes, we pay high utility bills, we pay high cable, and telephone bills.
